The Point Place basement launched a generation of stars. Nearly thirty years after That '70s Show premiered, here is where Laura Prepon's old castmates are today.
Topher Grace — Eric Forman
Donna's other half has settled into a steady career as a character actor, with recent roles in Heretic (2024) and Flight Risk (2025) and the series The Waterfront (2025). He is married to actress Ashley Hinshaw, with whom he has three children, and he reprised Eric in a guest turn on That '90s Show.
Mila Kunis — Jackie Burkhart
Arguably the breakout of the group, Kunis went from Jackie to a major film career (Black Swan, Bad Moms, the Ted films) and now works as a producer as well as a star. She has been married to castmate Ashton Kutcher since 2015, and the two have two children. She guested as Jackie on That '90s Show.
Ashton Kutcher — Michael Kelso
Kutcher built a second career as a prominent venture investor alongside his acting, and guested as Kelso on That '90s Show. In September 2023, he and Kunis wrote character-reference letters to the court ahead of Danny Masterson's sentencing; after public criticism the couple posted a video apologizing "for any pain" caused to victims and clarifying that the letters were not meant to question the jury's verdict, and Kutcher stepped down as board chair of the anti-abuse organization Thorn, which he co-founded.
Wilmer Valderrama — Fez
Valderrama has been a series regular on CBS's NCIS as Special Agent Nick Torres for years, with the show continuing into further seasons, and he was cast in the title role of a new Zorro series for Disney. He returned as Fez on That '90s Show.
Danny Masterson — Steven Hyde
Masterson's story is the somber one. After a 2022 trial ended in a hung jury, he was convicted in May 2023 on two counts of forcible rape and sentenced in September 2023 to 30 years to life in prison. He did not take part in That '90s Show because of the case. His legal team filed an appeal, and as of the most recent public filings that appeal was pending. We note the facts here plainly and without further comment out of respect for those involved.
Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith — Kitty and Red Forman
The Formans anchored the revival: Rupp and Smith both returned as series leads on That '90s Show, playing Kitty and Red as grandparents to a new generation of Point Place teens. Both remain active — Rupp in television and stage work, Smith across film and TV. After Netflix canceled the revival in October 2024, Smith said the producers hoped to shop it to another home.
Don Stark — Bob Pinciotti
Donna's dad returned too: Stark reprised Bob Pinciotti on That '90s Show, with his role expanded to recurring in the second season. He continues to work steadily as a character actor.
Tommy Chong — Leo
The counterculture legend, born in 1938, is in his late eighties and still performing stand-up. He said he was cancer-free in 2019 after earlier diagnoses, and recent work includes the documentary Cheech & Chong's Last Movie (2024).
Remembering Lisa Robin Kelly — the original Laurie Forman
Lisa Robin Kelly played Eric's older sister Laurie in the show's early seasons. She died on August 15, 2013, at the age of 43; the Los Angeles County Coroner attributed her death to accidental multiple-drug intoxication. She is remembered warmly by fans and castmates.
